Born on May 26, 1985, in Karachi, Syed A. Irfan’s journey into the world of miniature painting began at a young age. It was during a family visit to the Lahore Museum in 1997 that he first encountered miniature paintings, igniting a passion within him. Drawing inspiration from miniature art books and the internet, he embarked on a self-taught exploration of this intricate art form.
At the tender age of 17, Syed A. Irfan showcased his artwork to Ms. Saira, the owner of Zenaini Art Gallery. His talent left her astonished, and she wholeheartedly supported him, offering him a platform to exhibit his work. This marked the beginning of his journey as an artist, with his first group exhibition held at Zenaini Art Gallery in 2003, alongside esteemed senior miniaturists.
